JANUARY 3, 2008
I found out last week that Gesundheit! was selected for the Independent Games Festival Student Showcase. Thanks, judges! This means I'm going to San Fancisco in February! Congratulations as well to the other winners, available here. This has made my holiday. Oh, and also, a week or two ago Steve Cook interviewed me on TIGSource, which is pretty cool. Here it is.
OCTOBER 26, 2007
Well, I guess it's time for an update. After taking part of the summer off from working on Gesundheit!, I've been back at it for a bit now, and I'm done (tentatively) the pencil-and-paper planning of the things I want to add. I've started drawing rough graphics into the computer, and I changed a bunch of my old script to make it easier to edit. Boring stuff. I'll post something cool when I can.
JUNE 19, 2007
Forgot to mention also that the lovely Arsecast did a lovely Gesundheit! review in the last lovely podcast (#8, listed on the right-hand side). Now it's in a new audio-blog type format, so it looks like I squeaked into the reviews just in time! Swell.
JUNE 7, 2007
Added a little Flash project to the sidebar -- Comic Dice. For the random generation of nonsense.
JUNE 6, 2007
Wow! Gesundheit! has been in a few very nice articles lately (and even a few reviews, despite the fact that it's just a demo)! First, the June '07 issue of PC Format reviewed the demo and gave it a score of 80%. Second, the June '07 issue of PC Gamer (UK ) made it their Indie Choice and put it on the coverdisc. And while I'm at it, I might as well link to the reviews at FreewareGenius (5 stars) and Jay Is Games ("The illustration is absolutely beautiful"). Thanks, everybody!

Just posted demo version 1.1.2, which has a few tweaks. I went to the Toronto Game Jam last month, too, and made some graphics for some different dev teams. Lots of fun.
MAY SOMETHING, 2007
Sent Gesundheit! in to the Indie Games Showcase contest, so now people can rate my entry by clicking here. Hooray for rating things!
APRIL 9, 2007
Released demo version 1.1.1, which fixes a couple semi-minor bugs.
APRIL 4, 2007
Released demo version 1.1, which adds keyboard controls, an aiming cursor, snot stains, and fixes some bugs.
MARCH 19, 2007
Uploaded the soundtrack as a zip of MP3s.
MARCH 18, 2007
Released demo version 1.0.1, which fixes the save bug that was causing some games to not save properly. It also fixes the bug that occasionally let the red guy in level 12 eat you through a wall, which was mean. If you had the old version, and lost your progress, a sort-of fix is listed above.
MARCH 14, 2007
Added the MySpace soundtrack link.
